Mount Temple is a traditional Irish Championship golf course. It lies in the heart of Ireland and is renowned for its large links type greens and undulating fairways. The club is located just a short distance from Athlone, the capital of the midlands. Sitting on an esker based site gives the course the advantage of being playable all year round. The course was "built by God, polished by man" and affords great views from the course of over 75 miles.
